AIA Central PA is proud to bring back the MADE IN PA SERIES. MADE IN PA is a series of tours through Central PA facilities that produce building products that we in the construction industry specify daily-giving you a behind the scenes look at the manufacturing process. ABOUT LIGHTOLIER
Driven by inspiration in architectural designs, Lightolier began over 120 years ago. In its early days the company specialized in decorative chandeliers, then made a shift to the high-end design and architectural markets.
Today, Lightolier is using 3D printing as a viable technology for the lighting industry. This tour explore the different design options for lighting as well as benefits to the environment. Additionally, you will experience an in-person plant tour of Signify Lighting plant in Littlestown, PA. The tour will showcase different fabrication stages from initial design to completed lighting fixtures, inclusive of warehouse storage, shipping and packing. This tour will demonstrate the safety benefits of 3D printing over traditional lighting manufacturing.
