What We Do

“In representing, serving, and communicating the interests of our local chapters and individual members, AIA Pennsylvania promotes the profession of architecture throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania while striving for the highest quality in the built environment.”

AIA Central Pennsylvania is the regional chapter of  The American Institute of Architects Pennsylvania. AIA Central Pennsylvania is connected with eight local AIA chapters  of AIA Pennsylvania.

  • We represent the interests of architects in state government affairs.
  • We advocate public policies that emphasize good community design and responsible stewardship of the built and natural environments.
  • We provide a variety of essential services to members.

CHAPTER REGION: AIA Central PA is a local chapter serving the central Pennsylvania region of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder and York Counties and is a part of the AIA – Pennsylvania State Organization.

ACTIVITIES & SERVICES: AIA Central PA sponsors local activities such as educational conferences, meetings, community projects, post-disaster/urban design workshops, licensing exam preparation classes, building industry meetings, legislative workshops and community awareness campaigns.
