Eligibility Requirements

Students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate Architecture programs – and who are current residents of the 13-county Central PA AIA Chapter region are eligible to apply.   The selection process considers both financial need and talent.  Applicants do not have to be attending a Pennsylvania institution.

To be eligible you must be enrolled in an architecture degree program such as a two-year or four-year undergraduate program; five-year professional program or graduate program leading to a Masters of Architecture.

CPAFF Architecture Scholarships are limited to students who are present or former residents with a current mailing address from one of the following 13 counties in Central PA: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, or York.

Application Materials Required

If you are eligible to apply for the Central PA Architects Foundation Architecture Scholarship, please attach a one page letter of application indicating why you are studying architecture and your long term objectives. In addition to the letter, provide supporting materials of your choice; e.g. examples of design work, community involvement, volunteer activities (four pages maximum bundled in one .pdf file). Additionally, please attach a copy of your FAFSA and Student Aid Report (SAR), if available.

Central Pennsylvania Architects Foundation Fund (CPAFF) Scholarship Application

The AIA Central Pennsylvania Architects Foundation Scholarship is administered by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC).  Each applicant will need to complete the universal application with the above required materials to compete for the scholarship.    Please use the link provided to apply.  Application period is March – April annually.
