This moderated debate will feature key players on both sides of the Separations Act.\n\nRegister Now\n \nEnacted more than 100 years\, the Separations Act mandates separate prime contractors for public construction projects in the areas of general construction\, electrical\, plumbing\, heating & air conditioning. This is referred to as a Multiple Prime Delivery System and it requires the state government to bid separate contracts for the general contractor and the main specialty contractors—electrical\, mechanical\, plumbing\, and HVAC—for most public projects.
